Sulphuric Acid for Lead-acid Storage Batteries produced by Marchi Industriale S.p.A. is obtained through a modern contact catalytic process which uses pure sulphur in its elementary state. If this type of productive process is associated with the necessary storage procedures and with controls either on the finite product, on raw materials or on production intermediates, it assures a degree of purity which is very appreciated by the most important leaders of the production of lead-acid storage batteries and chemicals in the world.

PROPERTIES

Sulphuric Acid for Lead-acid Storage Batteries is supplied in aqueous solution with two typical concentrations: 96% and 99% H2SO4. It is a synthethised acid with an high degree of purity which is underlined by the fact that it contains metals, in particular iron, manganese, vanadium, nickel and chromium, in small quantities.

USES

It has widely varied uses and plays some part in the production of nearly all manufactured chemical. For example:
• Lead chamber processes;
• Reagent for the pharmaceutical and food industry;
• Raw material in different industrial chemical processes;
• Raw material in the making of synthetic detergents;
• Water purification and disinfection treatments;
• Reagent for the paper industry;
• Production of fertilizers, drugs, pigments, plastic materials, artificial fibres and explosives.

TRANSIT PACKING, STORAGE, HANDLING

Sulphuric Acid for Lead-acid Storage Batteries is provided by tank trucks with a capacity of 28 tons.
All equipment being in contact with the product, from the storage to the dosage, have to be made of stainless alloy or an adequate antiacid material. For the handling and any other information about users' health, look at the Safety Form which have to be requested during the first order agreement.
